“Moving Forward, Preserving Our Past: Revolution, Reaction, & Reform”    

Each year, the Amistad Commission hosts a Summer Curriculum Institute for New Jersey educators and administrators. This event provides an opportunity to learn from experts about various approaches to implementing the NJ Amistad Law in K-12 education across all subjects. The institute features plenary sessions, breakout sessions tailored to elementary, middle, and high school educators, as well as engaging entertainment. We invite all educators—teachers, administrators, curriculum specialists, department chairs, and more—to join us this summer for an enriching and informative experience.
